My Own Electronics: Tailored for the Camper

Because I wanted complete control over my installation — and the market offers very few specific or affordable solutions for camper vans — I developed my own custom electronics modules. What started as a solution for my own vehicle has evolved into a fully-fledged, modular ecosystem. These systems are completely configurable to your own needs, hardware-secured to the highest standard, and optimized down to the smallest detail for the demanding nature of ‘off-grid’ living.

Focus on Energy Efficiency

Unlike many commercial systems or standard DIY projects where every individual sensor or dimmer relies on its own Wi-Fi connection, my system operates via a central SystemBus or Modbus connection.

Having multiple Wi-Fi transmitters constantly broadcasting on standby silently drains your battery bank. Within this network, all modules communicate digitally via a wired connection to a single Master Unit. This means only one central component connects to your primary network (such as Home Assistant). This drastically reduces total standby power consumption. And that is crucial for a camper, where every single amp counts.

Robust Hardware, Smart Logic

No compromises were made during the PCB design process. Every single component has been selected based on road-tested reliability:

  • Industrial screw terminals that won’t vibrate loose while driving.
  • Galvanic isolation (optocouplers) to protect the central system from external voltage spikes or short circuits.
  • Extreme measurement precision and interference-free, high-frequency PWM control.

The result is the absolute dream setup for any DIY builder: an open, stable, and unbreakable network that transforms your camper into an intelligent living space, without compromising your autonomy.
